- Edmund A. Buck, 86, a resident of Wilmette, died Feb. 14 at Evanston Hospital. Mr. Buck was born Nov. 29, 1918 in Chicago to Anton Peter and Stella (nee Jarecki) Buczkowski. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Valerie (nee Bacher); three sons, Michael of Orland Park, Thomas (Darlene) of Marquette, Mich. and Christopher (Dina) of Mundelein; three grandchildren, Jaime (Kevin) Grittner, Gwendolyn and Alexander Edmund Buck; two sisters, Johanna (the late Wesley) Mika and Alfreda (Peter) Wojtalewisz; and many nieces and nephews.
