Both churches here have observed the week of prayer.
Mr. L. [Lewis] B. Springer has been laid up during the week with la grippe. Miss Sheldon was unable to attend to her school until Thursday on account of the illness of her niece, Miss Mae Dingee.
Monday evening the Royal Arcanum gave a public installation of officers in their hall. All present were greatly pleased with the entertainment.
The annual meeting of the Wilmette Library and Social club will be held next Monday evening at the home of Mrs. M. E. Barker.
