- Sam Marvin, 83, died March 1 at Normandy House in Wilmette. Born in Greece, he had lived at 1227 Isabella, Evanston, for 65 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Margaret Vanstell of Rolling Meadows; two sons, Harry Marvin of Rodondo Beach, Calif., and Peter Marvin of Wilmette; and eight grandchildren.
He was president of the Shawnee Service Center at 332 Linden Av. Wilmette, for more than 50 years. - Date of Publication
