- George Schaefgen of Evanston, 51, formerly of Wilmette, died Thursday June 14 at St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Schaefgen was born in Wilmette. Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. Surviving him are his mother, Mrs. Nicholas Schaefgen; a brother, John C. of Wilmette; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Strieff of Evanston.
