- Mrs. Gertrude Alice Challinor, 73, wife of the late Edward S. Challiner, died November 24 at her home 1131 Central Avenue, Wilmette. Mrs. Challinor was born in Staffordshire, England. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H. Warren Shaw of Evanston; a son, Mayland E. of 1343 Chestnut Avenue, Wilmette; and three grandchildren, Patricia Shaw and John and Peter Challinor.
