Lucille Collins Murray, 67, died November 2 at Evanston Hospital. Mrs. Murray, who was the mother of comedian Bill Murray, was a retired employee of American Hospital Supply Corp., and past president of the Pere Marquette chapter of N.A.I.M., a Catholic widows organization. She was a Democratic judge of election in New Trier Township. Mrs. Murray was a graduate of St. Scholastica High School. Her husband was EdwardJ. Murray, Jr. who died in 1967. Four of her nine children went into show business. Her son Brian, an actor and screen writer, began his professional career at Second City, where his brother Bill Followed. Bill went on to star on "Saturday Night Live," and in such movies as "Ghostbusters," "Meatballs," and "Stripes." Joel is now in the cast of Second City, and JOhn is a screen actor. Survivors include two other sons, Edward and Andrew; three daughters, Sister Nancy, O.P., Peggy crane, and Laura; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Florence O'Brien. Services for Mrs. Murray were Nov. 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wilmette. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 317 Checker Drive, Buffalo Grove, 60089
