- Dorothy (Faith) Beeckel of 1311 Greenwood Av. in Wilmette died April 3 in the Lake Bluff Health Care Center. Mrs. Beeckel, 81, was a native of Battle Creek, Mich. Her mother, Sarah L. Faith, was the granddaughter of the Rev. John Harris. Mrs. Beeckel's father, Winfield Scott Faith was a Civil War veteran. Mrs. Beeckel was the widow of the late Dr. Nelson Beeckel. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Johnson of Wilmette; a sister, Georgie Sexton of Laguna Hills, Cal.; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
