- Elizabeth Wallace Baker, 79, of 232 Ravine Forest Drive, Lake Bluff, died February 17 at home. Born September 22, 1901 in Saltillo, Mexico, she moved to Palo Alto, California, in 1913, attended Stanford University and was graduated from the University of Chicago in 1923. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Baker. She is survived by three sons, Wallace of Paris, France, Donald of Kenilworth and James of Madrid, Spain; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Janet Ullmann, of Lake Bluff; and a brother, Davis Wallace of Houston, Texas.
