- Dr. Martin H. Seifert, a public health expert who served as health commissioner of Wilmette for 47 years, 82, died Aug. 20 in Evanston hospital. Surviors include his wife, Alice; a son, Charles of Glen Ellyn; four daughters, Dr. Elizabeth Beach of Sylvania, Ohio, Susan Kean of Lawrence, Kan., Martha Windelborn, of Sycamore, Ill. and Mary Seifert of Evanston.
