- Lawrence John Dell Sr., 71 a longtime resident of Wilmette, died Sept. 18 in Evanston Hospital. Mr. Dell, was born in Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Barbara L. Dell of Wilmette; five daughters, Susan (Steven) McDonald, Julia Dell, Elizabeth (Andrew) Ringness, Sarah (Charles) Ryan and Emily (Lawrence) Corridon; a son, Lawrence J. Dell, Jr.; 11 grandchildren, Thomas, John, Amanda, Catherine, Madeline, Margaret, Joseph, Charles, John, Daisy and Sunny; and one brother, the Rev. Robert Dell. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Dell.
