- The marriage of Eleanor Conway Nelson of New York to John Howard Barnes of New York was place July 23 in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Va. The bride is the daughter of Beverly L. Nelson of Richmond, and Lewis P. Nelson III of Maidens, Va. The bridegroom is the son of Margaret H. Barnes of Glencoe and the late R. Marshall Barnes. Maid of honor was Janee Heizer of Dallas, Texas, and the best man was Mark Ix of New York City. Bridesmaids were Caroline Boone of Houston, Texas; Clare Kaye of New York City; Courtney Nea of Arlington, Va.; and Patience Garrett of Fairway, Kan. Groomsmen were Christopher Maurillo of St. Louis, Mo.; Morgan Dennehy of Brooklyn, N.Y.; John O'Connell of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and John Skok of New York City. Ring bearer was Alexander Barnes of Glastonbury, Conn., nephew of the groom.
