- Catherine Marie Diltz and Brian Coyle Deiss were married March 26 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Wilmette, with the Rev. Edward Harnett officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Gordon Diltz Jr. of Scottsdale, Ariz. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Deiss of Naperville. Julie Diltz Cohen of Winnetka, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and Jeff Duggan of Atlanta, Ga., was best man. Bridesmaids included sisters of the bride, Sally Diltz Cantnell; Carol Diltz Schmidt of Kenilworth; and Susan Diltz Keenan of Chicago; Kelly O'Hara of Glenview; Linda Bautisth of Grosse Point, Mich.; Katherine Buse of St. Paul, Minn; and Stephanie Mishra of Troy, Mich. Ushers included brothers of the groom, Dan Deiss of Traverse City, Mich., and Steve Deiss of DeKalb; Doug Garrison of Chicago; Chris O'Hara of Glenview; Greg Marfilius of Palatine; Scott Peterson of Houston, Tex.; and Mike Mahoney of Charlotte, N.C. Christina Diltz of Mt. Prospect, niece of the bride, was flower girl, and Michael Deiss, nephew of the groom was ring bearer.
