- Thomas D. Neary, Sr. of Wilmette died Jan. 11 in St. Petersburg, Fla. He was 78. Mr. Neary was born in Slater, Mo. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a sister, Katherine Stilwell of Slater, Mo.; four children, Thomas Jr. of Wilmette, Donna Williams of St. Louis, Mo., William of Denver, Colo. and John of St. Petersburg; and 11 grandchildren.
