- Rollin Raymond Ripperger of Skokie, a long-time Kenilworth resident, died March 4 at Skokie Valley Community Hospital. Mr. Ripperger, 77, operated the Rollin R. Rippberger Insurance Agency in Kenilworth from 1939-54 and in Skokie since 1954. Born in Elgin, Illinois,. He is survived by his wife, Josephine; a daughter, Alice Jo Bekins of Skokie; a son, James of New York City; and two sisters, Helen Gamertsfelder of Batavia, Illinois, and Emma Rovelstad of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
