- Herold L. Rifken, 61, of Highland Park, died April 28 at Highland Park Hospital. Mr. Rifken was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Elgin. Survivors include his wife, Grace Rifken of Highland Park; three daughters, Amy Harwood of Overland Park, Kan., Abby Ring of Deerfield and Liz Rifken of Wilmette; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Ben Rifken of Elgin, Ill., and Roy Rifken of Rancho Mirage, Calif.
