- William F. Schroeder, formerly of Wilmette, died in La Jolla, Calif. on March 4. He was 92. His father was Charles F. Schroeder. He is survived by his wife, L. Arlene Stoner Schroeder; two daughters, Susan (Kenneth) Pettigrew of La Jolla and Janet (Thomas) Brawner of Wadsworth, Ill.; grandchildren Jennifer, Katherine, Roger and Craig Pettigrew and David and Michael Brawner; and great-grandson Michael Brawner. Funeral services were Friday at the Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home in Wilmette. Entombment was at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
