- Mrs. Martha A. Savage, 92, died Jan. 1 in Evergreen Park, Ill. Mrs. Savage had lived at 510 Lake Av. in Wilmette for 45 years. The wife of the late Herbert R. Savage, she is survived by her sons, Herbert P. Savage of Chicago and John Savage of Crystal Lake; a daughter, Doris Burke of Palo Alto, Cal.; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
