- Guilford R. Windes, of Mill Valley, Cal., died March 3 at the Redwoods Retirement Home there, at the age of 89. Mr. Windes was born in Winnetka in 1898. Marian Vogdes Windes, to whom he was married in 1926, preceded him in death. He is survived by his four children, Nancy W. Ross of Riverside, Conn.; Peggy W. Burt of Cheny, Wash.; Frank V. Windes of Los Altos Hills, Cal.; and Patty W. Callahan of Pasadena, Md. Survivors also include his sister, Margry Wilson of Mill Valley, Cal.; 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
