Lieutenant Charles P. Macklin of the British Royal Flying Corps, was reported missing while engaged in aerial activity over the German lines. is [sic]only 19 years old and is a son of Charles G. Macklin, a picture frame manufacturer of Chiago and New York, living at 354 Kenilworth avenue, Kenilworth. He was graduated from New Trier Township High School when 17 years old He joined the royal flying corps after being refused in the American service because of his youth.
