- Popular student orator, Jay L. Chesnutt, was the winner at the prohibition oratorical contest last night in Evanston. The contest was organized by Horace B. Sellers with assistant of President A. W. Harris and members of the university board. Prof. Hotchkiss presided. Harry J. Donahoo was the first speaker followed by J. C. Carwardine, J. M. Cormack, Jay L. Chesnutt, J. Manley Phelps, Douglas M. Johnson
