Rebecca Fitch, 69, of 1033 Elmwood Av., died Feb. 4 at Evanston Hospital. Miss Fitch,
a retired editor of the
Glenview Announcements, helped to establish the newspaper in the 1940s.
She is survived by two sisters, retired Lt.
Col. Elizabeth Fitch of Wilmette, and Mrs. Lillian Rehbock of Bothell, Wash. ; and a brother, Thomas A. of South Pasadena, Cal.
Services were held Feb. 8 at Scott
Funeral Home in Wilmette, by the Rev.
Harold Olson of the North Shore Methodist
Church. Interment was private.
