Miss Elizabeth Walkey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George B. Walkey, 1607 Lake avenue, was married last Saturday afternoon to Leslie Mannasmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Mannasmith of Clarinda, Iowa. The ceremony, which was performed by the bride's cousin, the Rev. John M. Hayes of Evansotn, took place at the Walkey residence and was followed by a reception from 7 o'clock until 9, for a hundred guests. The bride wore a gown of white lace and an exquisite handmade lace veil which was fastened with orange blossoms. Her flowers were white roses. Miss Luella Mary Walkey and Lorraine Walkey, their sister's only attendants, wore white taffeta dresses and held bouquets of white tea roses and blue larkspur and pink roses and blue larspur, respectively. John Reed of Rogers Park was Mr. Mannasmith's only attendent. The bride and bridegroom have departed on a honeymoon in the Black Hills, S.D., and will later take a summer cottage for three months in Louisiana, on the Mississippi.
