Miss Hattie Luella Nourse, who has lived in Wilmette since 1910, died in her home at 1137 Greenwood avenue, Friday morning, June 18, after a brief illness. Services were conducted in the family home Monday afternoon by the Rev. Ross R. Cannon of the First Congregational church of Wilmette of which she was a member. Burial was at Rosehill cemetery.

Miss Nourse, daughter of the late John A. and Clara Swift Nourse, is survived by two sisters, Miss Ida N. Nourse and Miss Clara Nourse of Wilmette.

Born in Chicago on the west side, Miss Nourse and her family moved to the south side where, as a young girl she was active in the Young Woman's Bible class of the 41st Street Presbyterian church. She was also active in the Young Woman's auxiliary of the Arché club, in which she was a member until after coming to Wilmette.
