George H. Kriete, 325 Oxford Road, Kenilworth passed away suddenly of a heart attack at his home early last Friday morning. He was 66 years old and had been a resident of the community for almost 17 years.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday afternoon at the Scott chapel in Wilmette by Rev. Herbert L. Willett of the Kenilworth Union Church. Intermet was at Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.

Mr. Kriete, a special assistant attorney-general, had practiced law for more than 45 years and had long been interested in politics. He specialized in corporation law.

Surviving are his widow: a daughter, Mrs. Arthur B. Haven Jr., of Evanston: a son George Jr., of Kenilworth; a sister Miss Amanda Kriete of Sandwich, Ill., and three brothers, Frank L. of Evanston, Edward of Seattle, and Arthur O. of Los Angeles.
