Carolyn Margaret Igoe and Michael Shea Young were married June 23, 2007 in the Church of the Holy Comforter with the Rev. Kendall Haynes officiating. The reception followed at the Valley Lo Club in Glenview.
The bride is the daughter of Margot and Jim Igoe of Northfield. She is a graduate of New Trier High School and DePauw University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She teaches at Middlefork School in Northfield.
The groom is the son of Karen and Ken Young of Edmond, Okla. He is a graduate of DePauw University with a bachelor's degree in history and is currently attending John Marshall Law School.
The maid of honor was Ryan Kelly and the best man was Christopher Buterbaugh.
The bridesmaids were Sara Chown, sister of the groom, and Erica Larson, Jenny Schulz and Elizabeth Bradford.
The ushers were Brendan Igoe, brother of the bride, and Matthew Hinman, Zachary Marquand and Kevin McEvoy.
The couple honeymooned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and reside in Evanston.
