James Gary Stuart, 72, formerly of Lake Bluff and Santa Fe, N.M., died Jan. 17 in Lincolnshire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Anderson Stuart; his sister Joyce Walwick (Paul) of Tennessee; his brother, William Stuart of California; three nieces; one grand-niece and grand-nephew. He was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Jacksonville, Ill. He was the second son and third child of William Elmer Stuart and Winifred Lillian Pieper Stuart. He married Nancy Elizabeth Anderson on March 29, 1970, in Lake Forest. A Holy Eucharist was held Jan. 23 at the Church of the Holy Comforter. Interment followed in the church's columbarium.
