Margaret Tideman Sprenger, 89, of Evanston and formerly Kenilworth, died Dec. 24 at the McGaw Care Center in Evanston. Mrs. Sprenger was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Menominee, Mich. Survivors include four daughters, Susan (Robin) Cooper of Indianapolis, Ind., Catherine (Charles) Smid of Sudbury, Vt., Barbara (Jeff) Paine of Kenilworth, and Margot (Jim) Igoe of Northfield; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Catherine (Tom) James of San Diego, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, John Shuman Sprenger.
