Brooks, Mary (née Irwin) (Died)

Mrs. Mary Irwin Brooks, 74 years old, died lat Friday at her home in Zion, Ill. Mrs. Broooks, who had been a resident of Lake county for 31 years, was the mother of Gale M. Brooks of Wilmette and of James O. Brooks of Winnetka. Another son, Charles, lives in Highland Park. Mrs. Brooks is survived also by her husband, Arthur W. Brooks, a retired cement contractor. For years Mrs. Brooks was superintendent of the Sunday school at the Grace Missionary church in Zion. Funeral services were held in that church Monday afternoon, and burial took place at Pine View Cemetery.
