Wood, Meta (née Focke) (Died)

Mrs. Meta Focke Wood, widow of the late Dr. William G. Wood of Glencoe and Wilmette, died on Wednesday of last week in Chicago. She had been a resident of Glencoe for 34 years. Funeral services were conducted in the city on friday aftenoon by the Rev. J. C. O'Hare, pastor of the North Shore People's church, with burial at Montrose cemetery. Mrs. Wood is survived by five sons, Julius of North Chicago, William G. of Waukegan, John of Highand Park, Arthur of Glencoe, and Thomas of Chicago, by four daugthers, Mrs. Minnie Kees of Evanston, Mrs. Jessie Mellish of California, Mrs. Florence Bleier of Chicago, and Miss Grace Wood, also of Chicago; and by a brother, August Focke, of Wisconsin.
