Miller, Nicholas P. and Miller, Mrs. Nicholas P. (Anniversary: 50)

The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas P. Miller, 1775 Washington Ave, will be observed Saturday, September 15. Services will be held in St. Joseph's church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock and a reception will be held in the home of their son, N.J. Miller, 1921 Birchwood Ave., at 6 o'clock in the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were married in Chicago,September 15, 1885, and have been residents of Wilmette continuously for 48 years. Mr. Miller who is now serving his third term as Village clerk, is well known in Cook county political circles, having held positions for a number of years in the County assessor's office and with the Sanitary district. Prior to that he was engaged in the florist business in Wilmette for 27 years, as a member of the firm of Felke and Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Miller have four children and 21 grandchildren.
