Carrie M. Seelye, Memorial sermon preached at the Baptist Church Sunday Morning, Jan. 12, by the Pastor, Rev. H. A. Delano

Miss Carrie M. Seelye, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Issac H. Seelye, formerly of Evanston and now of Eau Claire, Wis. [Wisconsin], departed this mortal life, Tuesday, the seventh. The burial service was at Rosehill. The memorial service Sunday morning called out a very large audience of sympathizing and devoted friends. Pulpit and platform were draped in white, decorated with the most beauriful flowers and smilax, emblematic and suggestive. The choir rendered the beauriful hymns, "Jesus, Lover of my Soul," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and "Some Sweet Day by and by."
