Desmond, Frank J. (Died)

Mr. and Mrs. Ray C. Pearson and daughters Marian and Catherine Rae were called to Galena, Ill., last Thursday by the death of Mrs. Pearson's brother Frank J. Desmond. Mr. Desmond died suddenly last Wednesday night, having been ill only a few hours. Death was due to heart failure.

Mr. Desmond had lived in Galena all his life and was identified with the business of the town, having for many years been in the coal business.

Mr. Desmond is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Pearson, Mrs. Joseph F. Dolamore, Mrs. Adele Helstern, Miss Mame Desmond and Miss Alberta Desmond.

The funeral services were held on Saturday morning, several hundred friends attending.

Mr. Pearson and Marion and Catherine Rae Pearson returned to Wilmette on Monday, but Mrs. Pearson will not return until next week.
