For the past month the 400 volumes, including some of the latest popular) fiction have been out of circulation. Now they are being returned to their proper places on the library shelves. The library has also received from the bindery quite a number of bound magazines. This is the first time that it has attempted to bind magazine volumes. Lutheran Church Members Will Attend Conference Members of the St. John's Lutheran church are interested in the summer Pastoral conference of the Lutheran churches to be held at the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran church, Evanston, from August 28 to 30. Invitations to 150 ministers of Lutheran churches in North- ern Illinois were sent out by the Evans ton church. At this conference papers will be read by the various pastors, and questions concerning church discipline will be dis cussed. Members of the church will open their homes to visiting pastors.
