Not a few are pursuing their present course as a result of previous purpose and preparation. By force of circumstances or for expediency they have modified and developed their pro- gram again and again. But by what method do they decide upon the Tightness of their course? How many people real- ly think of this in connection with their life and their life work? The sermon topic for Sunday morning isâ€"HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE RIGHT? Mr. S. D. Gordon, world renowned author and speaker, is now appearing daily, except Saturday and Sunday, at the Olympic theatre in Chicago, giving noon-day "Quiet Talks." This arrange- ment is under the auspices of the Chi- cago Church Federation, and will con- tinue until Easter. Mid-week Service:â€"Practical pro- grams promoting personal preparation for Easter Time at eight o'clock each Wednesday evening. All church mem- bers expected to attend. Others cordi- ally invited. The Boy Scouts and Junior Scouts will meet in the church as usual this coming week. On Monday. March 5, the Amicae Chapter of the Westminister Guild will hold a regular meeting in the church parlors. The hour is 2:30 o'clock. The Light Bearers will meet for their hour of mission study, Monday after- noon at 3:00 o'clock in the Sunday School Annex. The Senior Endeavor will meet at 5:30 o'clock Sunday evening. Mary Lowell is the leader this week. How many men think of attending a Bible Class on Sunday morning? The man who hopes to keep "abreast of the times" in business will avail himself of opportunities for information and prac- tical suggestions and ideas in his line. Why shouldn't Christian men do the same thing in safeguarding and develop- ing the business of Christian life and service? Our Men's Bible Class is for this very purpose. BAPTIST CHURCH Preparatory to the Easter season, the Pastor of the Baptist church is now giv- ing a course of sermons on Christian Fundamentals. Last week he spoke on the Christian's God. Next week he will speak on the theme, "Christian Prayer," and the following subjects will be pre- sented in the coming weeks: "March 11 ....The Christian's Book March 18 ___ The Christian Church March 25 ........The Christian Life April 1 ........The Christian Hope The morning Service commences at 11 o'clock, and all are welcome. The Wilmette Choral Society furnishes the music. The Bible School of the church meets at 9:45 with graded instruction for all ages. The adult classes, known as the Fellowship^ Class, and the Bible Study Forum, meet for study at. ten o'clock. At the Prayer Meeting on Wednesday night at 8 o'clock there will be a further consideration of the questions suggested by the present series of sermons.
