To this end the directors recent- ly announced a recapitalization plan to be voted on by the shareholders at the annual meeting on February 28. It is proposed to create an open first lien 7 per cent stock, of which â€" the present funded indebtedness will be_ retired and, pxavi&ion^wilLb*- tnade ~ for future capital expenditures. The present bond issue is limited to $10,- 000,000, of which $4,060,000 are out- â€" standing and $2,845,600 are pledged to ____secure notes, of which there are 2,- 925,000 outstanding. Between 1916, "~â€"when the receivership ended, and Sep- tember 30, 1922, about $5,600,000 was expended on the property but about = $3,200,000 of thi^amount wasfrom operating revenues and reserves. It is proposed to create an open first lien per cent stock, of which $1,500,000 would be issued immediate- ly for treasury purposes and the bal- ance reserved for retiring notes and capital expenditures. It is also plan- tied to issue $10,000,000 of 6 per cent preferred and common shares to be given to participation shareholder in exchange for their 170,000 no par par- ticipation shares in the ratio of 10 per ^ cent to holders of first preferred shares, 40 per cent to holders of sec- ond preferred, and 10 per cent to holders of common shares. .
