Hildebrandt, head of the Biology department at New Trier, was chosen chairman of the Biology section. Mr. Hildebrandt has an A. M. from Northwestern, where he taught one year before coming to New Trier twelve years ago. He is a member of the Sigma Xi Honor society. He has had a wide experience as a teach- er and principal in high schools, and for two summers traveled through Europe gathering specimens for his museum and also lantern slides for his lectures in Biology. He spent two summers in the west and one in the east and the south obtaining ma- terial for his work.
