The pastor is very anxious to have ill members and friends attend next Sunday morning. The services are ield at the Woman's club. Both classes are open to adults and extend a welcome to all who would learn more about the Bible and the principles of the Christian life. The Church council will sit down to dinner together at 6:30 Tuesday, De- cember 13, at the church. The rapid- ly expanding activities of the church will be studied and plans for the win- ter adopted. The Mid-week meeting on Decem- ber 14 promises to be One of great worth and inspiration. At this time a number who are uniting with the church upon profession of their faith will be received. The walks leading to the new build- ing have been laid, much progress made in the grading, and the work is the windows for the auditorium. METHODIST CHURCH ^ BAPTIST CHURCH The problems confronting the church at present are those not of de- pression but of prosperity. The school t Sunday broke all former records attendance, although there were io special inducements. As in indication of the growth of the chweh the-followinfr figures-appear- ed last Sunday in the church bulletin. The morning service average at- tendance for November in 1919 was In 1920 it was 102, and in 1921 it iched 151. The Bible school ay- lerage attendance for November in 11919 was 98. In 1920 it was 104 and Tin 1921 it was 137. The two adult classes in the Bible [school are in a most flourishing state. 'he Bible Study Forum met for din- ;r on November 29, enrolling 40 Imembers. This group meets on Sun- [day mornings at 10 o'clock. The pas- Itor, Mr. Stifler, is teaching at pres- lent. The Fellowship class meets at â- the same hour and adopted their con- stitution at a well attended meeting [on Tuesday evening of this week. Sunday school, 9:45. Preaching, 11 o'clock. Epworth League meeting, 6 o'clock. Prayer meeting Wednesday night. Monthly Official Board meeting on Tuesday evening, December 13. Post- poned from December 6 on account Centenary Pageant. The "Harvest Home Dinner" was a GREAT success. There was turkey and to spare and everyone had enough. There were no tiresome numbers on the program, notwith- standing some original poetry read by the authors. The toastmaster was not "reminded" too often- _or Joo I much. The pastor got to the people- with the meaning of his program for i the church. Everyone seemed glad they came. The Aid will have about $40 left when the bills are paid, and I M«-« n^rft, the president, is smiling ' again. Last Sunday's communion service I broke all records. A few short of 300 were served and only five or six I of the entire audience failed to take | communion. Five were baptized and I about forty received into membership. Epworth League social in the church, Saturday night, December 10. All young people invited. , Each of the two adult classes had 24 present last Sunday. Out of a to- tal attendance of 292 there were 48 I in these two classes and 244 for the rest of the school.
