Dear Sir: In my communication to you last week, I stated that there was no tax levy on file with the County Clerk from the Wilmette Board of Edu- cation for the ensuing year. I have been today informed by the County Clerk that the Board has furnished satisfactory evidence that such a levy was filed by them in apt time as required by law, but that through some confusion in the Coun- ty Clerk's office, it was lost and no record of it was made at the time. I am also advised that the Roard has been requested to file a duplicate levy, and that the same will be re- cognized by the County Clerk in lieu of the original as of the day it was originally filed. • .
