Tucker* at 1214 Lake avenue, was the scene of a lovely wedding at noon on Labor Day/when their daughter, Miss Verna May Tucker, was united in marriage to Mr. Ren Lauren Blodgett, son oT"Mrs, Alida Blodgett of Madison, Wis. Rev. Stephen A. Lloyd, pastor of the Congregational church, read the service. The bride wore a handsome gown of bridal satin and embroider- ed silk net, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lillies of the valley. Her veil of tulle was very long, and was held in place bv a band of orange blossoms. Miss Marion E. Baldwin of Berwyn, I1L, attended Miss Tucker as maid of honor, and wore a pretty frock of pale green taffeta, carrying an arm bouquet of yellow roses. Mrs. Tucker, in a gown of grey crepe de chine, embroidered in steel beads and blue, attend- ed her daughter as matron of honor. She carried pink roses and blue larkspur. Mr. Albert Tucker, brother of the bride, served as best man, and Mr. Frank Schantz, ushered. Assisting at the refreshment tables after the ceremony were the Misses Dorothy anct Pfiscilta~Lrloyd^and Dorothy Schantz, in attractive froeks of yellow, green and lavendar organdie. The home Was a bower of lovely garden flowers, ferns and palms. Preceding and after the ceremony, Miss Maye Boettcher rendered a group of songs, accompanied by Miss Elizabeth Place. Mr. and Mrs. Blodgett are honeymooning at Pickerel Lake, Wis., and will be at home after October 1, in Madison, Wis. Among the out-of-town guests, who attended the wedding were Mrs. Alida Blodgett, of Madison, mother of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. William Jamison and daughter, Helen, of Madison, Mr. and Mrs W C.
