Following closely the formal instal- lation of the Church CounciUa*^ Sun- day, come* the announcement that Sunday, June 19 is to mark the occa- sion of the installation of the pastor, Rev. A. O. Soholm, arpermaneht minis- ter of the progre**ive congregation. Rev. Soholm came to VVtlmette from Superior, Wis., late last winter at the summon* of leading Chicago and north shore Lutheran* who saw in this village a rich field for a new congregation. Aided and encouraged by year* of ex- perience in church organization and extension work in the Lutheran denomi- nation. Rev. Soholm achieved almost immediate success in a canvass of the local field, and within a few week* of his coming services were" started-, at the Woman's club. About a month ago the church closed its charter membership roll, and subsequently established a Sun- day School and Woman's Society.
