Sign Original Charter The original charter of the Post will be signed by the charter mem- bers at this meeting of the legion men. Attend Tablet Unveiling Sunday morning, December 12,, at 11 o'clock, St. Augustine's Episcopal church will unveil a Memorial Tablet in memory of the three men of that church who died in the service. At the request of the Vestry of the church the American Legion will at- tend this service in a body. In uni- form. Every .ex-service man should attend. The post will meet at 10:30 o'clock at Commander Bradley's heme, 1104 Forest avenue. Each Post member is requested to call Joseph Shantz at Wilmette 603 on or before Saturday evening and-let him know whether or not he will attend this service. Bay Xmas Seals I The allotment of Red Cross Christ- mas Seals for the Post is at hand and is being handled by J. G. Barber, Merrimaa Hess and William Shell- man. The men are asked to get their Christmas seals from these menâ€"now. Thursday evening is Athletic night for the Wilmette Post. Byron C. Stolp school gymnasium, Tenth street and Central avenue. The Misses Kathryn and Joy Scheidenhelm of 704 Lake avenue, Miss Dorothea Schmedtgen, of 710 Greenleaf avenue and Miss Helen Bruch, of 1201 Greenwood avenue, will return on December 18 from Wellesley colloge for the Christmas holidays. Plans are now under way to form a children's dancing class to meet at the Ouilmette Country club one afternoon a week, immediately fol- lowing the holidays. Miss Jean Richardson will be the instructor. The Young Woman's Guild of the Presbyterian church will be enter- tained at dinner this evening at the homt of Mrs. W. G. Colvin, 709 Elm- wood avenue. Following the dinner an interesting Missionary Study pro- gram will be given. A group of young society girls, among them the Misses Virginia Taylor, Harriet Ridgway and Louise Tinsman of Kenilworth, acted as ushers on Tuesday evening at Wil liam Collier's performance of "The Hottentot." The occasion was the fifth benefit for the Ogontz Day Nur- sery. Mrs. E; P. Fatch of 611 Forest ave- nue, will leave on Wednesday of next week, for Blackwell, Wis., where she will spend the holidays with her son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Planner. Mr. Fatch will join them later in the month. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Knapp of 900 Forest avenue, have rented their home to Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Friends of Arthur O'Connell, 907 Central avenue, will be glad to hear that he is getting along exceptionally well after his accident of three weeks ago in which he received fracture of the teg and a dislocated ankle. Word was received of the death on Thanksgiving morning of Mrs. S. T. Gage of Cleveland, Ohio, sister of Mrs. H. A. Pope, 910 Lake avenue. Mrs. Pope left at once for Cleve- land and has only just returned. Mrs. Walter Hannah had as her guest for a few days last week, her brother, Joseph Horn, who has re- turned home from Northwestern Military academy, for the Christmas holidays. Mr. and Mrs. William C.
