THE LAKE SHORE NEWS, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15, 1920 H WEDDING, attractive for its simplicity, will be that of Miss Madeleine Restieaux Carnahan to Mr. Donald Simmons, son of Dr. and Mrs. A. H. Simmons of Girard, 111.,, which will take place on Saturday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Carnahan, 700 Central avenue. The ceremony will be read at 8 o'clock, by Rev. Hubert C. Carleton, rector of St. Augustine's church. Miss Carnahan will be attended by Miss Mary Latham of Ev- anston, as maid of honor, and the Misses Mary Mack, Marian Reese, Mary Worthington, and Elizabeth JKerr will stretch the ribbons. Miss "Dolly" Hecht, will be ring bearer. Bayard Simmons will serve his brother as best man. Mr. and Mrs. William H. Nash, formerly of Detroit, have issued invitations for the marriage of their daughter, Frances Elizabeth, to Conant Wait of Kenwood on Saturday evening, November 6, at St. Augustine's church. Rev. Hubert C. Carleton, assisted by Father Fleming of the Church of the Atonement, will read the service at 8:30 o'clock. A reception at the home of Mrs. Charles A. Wanner, 629 Central avenue, will follow the ceremony. Miss Jeane Davies of Syracuse, N. Y., will attend Miss Nash as maid of honor and Mr. Neil Evans of Hudson, N. Y., will serve Mr. Wait as best man.
