The reduction applies to new sum- mer stock just arrived; and in fact everything in the shop is marked down. BOY SCOUT SERVICE The Boy Scouts of America, if the plans of state headquarters of the American Legion are carried through, will shortly become an active force in the campaign conducted through- out the country to get former serv- ice men and Legionnaires to re- instate their war risk insurance. All post commanders in the Department of Illinois are being requested to get in touch with the Boy Scout or- ganizations in their immediate terri- tory and have the scouts deliver re- instatement blanks to every man's home. AT EASTERN CONVENTION Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Comee, 1612 Forest avenue, left last Friday for a three weeks trip to the east to attend the Master Mechanics convention in Atlantic City, N. J., and visit points in Pennsylvania and New England.
