Cblndblom, wife of the county attorney of Cook county, appears first, as pianist Among the numbers to be presented by this charming pianist is a composi- tion by a popular and well-known Chi- cago organist and composer, Prof. Bmil Larson. The composition, which Is published in Sweden, Is entitled "Concert Fantasia on Swedish Folk- songs," and is pronounced in Stock- holm to bo the best potpourri of Its kind. Miss Florence Hallberg of Edge- water is to be the soprano soloist, and Mr. Joel' Mossberg, baritone, appears on the program for two groups of vocal numbers. Another performer who has graced many Scandinavian programs, and wbo is aa popular as any Scandinavian-American reader, is Mrs. Geo. B. Q- Johnson. Her spe- cialty is humorous Swedish-American dialect pieces. The drowning feature, however, of this excellent entertain- ment is a si>eech by a man of Inter- national reputation, a nan who holds an enviable place in the hearts of Swedish-Americans, Dr. Nywall, pres- ident of North Park college. This dis- tinguished man, whoso oratorical ability Is known from Mt. Rainier on the west coast to the city of Now York on the east, and who baa been honored by royalty of Europe, will de- liver a short talk on "Swedish Poets and Poetry." Outdstrand, a motorcycle demonstrator for a firm at 1018 Mont- rose boulevard, Chicago, reported to the Evanston police Sunday that a stranger purporting to be from Evanston, made away with a new motorcycle from the firm's store Sunday morning. Ouldatrand stated that the stranger asked for a demonstration of a motorcycle and wanted to make a payment on the machine with a check drawn on the State Bank of Evsjwton. This plan was refused by the O^emOnatrator, but be did allow the stranger to ride the machine to the lake front for a trial. The stranger failed-to return. Thinking that he might get a clew to the Identity of the stranger Gold- strand went to Evanston and asked the assistance of the police there in the search.
