Julius Pecz, 82, of Miami, retired North Shore landscape architect and former Wilmette resident, died Dec. 6 while visiting Holland. Associated for more than 20 years with Swain Nelson and Sons Co., Glenview, former landscape architects, contranctors, and nurserymen, many of the firm's public, industrial, institutional, and private landscape projects. During his last active years, he was associated with the Grundstrom Co., also of Glenview. Mr. Pecz was a captain in the Hungarian Army during World War I. After the war he worked on the Hague's city plan until its completion in 1920. Surviving are Mrs. Pecz' children, Lydia Siemers of the Hague, M. Paul van Hemert of Miami, and eight grandchildren.
