Mrs. Anna V. Nye, 76, of 816 Juniper Rd., Glenview, died July 29 in Woodlawn Hospital, Chicago. Before her retirement, Mrs. Nye had served 20 years as secretary of St. Peters Episcopalian Church in Chicago. She is survived by two [sic] sons, Harry G. Jr. of Deerfield and Robert P. and Edward Q., both of Milwaukee; seven sisters, Mrs. Allen Crabtree of Glenview, Mrs. Louis Johnson of Milwaukee, Mrs. Albert Weinberg of Highland Park, and Pauline Penivoch, Mrs. Eva Stein, Miss Helen Penivoch, and Mrs. William Leyden, all of Chicago; a brother, Anthony G. Penovich of Kenilworth; and seven grandchildren. Services were conducted Aug. 1 in the Scott Funeral Home by the Rev. John Scrambler, retired minister of St. Peters Episcopal Church. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
