Carl W. Krohl, 74, of 818 Ashland Av., Wilmette, died Jan. 18 in Evanston Hospital. Mr. Krohl retired five years ago as chief attorney for the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad. Since then he has been in private practice. A native of Centralia, Ill., Mr. Krohl was graduated from Creighton University Law School and served with the Army Signal Corps during World War I. He was with the railroad for 53 years and was chief attorney for 11 years. Mr. Krohl had lived in Wilmette since 1930. Surviving are his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Mrs. Willfred G. Moore, of Wilmette; a son, Richard J., of Miami, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in Wilmette. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
