The Evanston Society for the Erection of Historical Monuments met at the home of Dr. Richards on Central St. Many members attended. President William C. Levere officiated. The main focus of the meeting was dedication of a tablet to be placed at the northeast corner of Church St. and Orrington to commemorate a famous church at that location. Charles Bartlett, Joseph F. Ward and George H. Tomlinson serve on the committee organizing the dedication. The committee working on the address is chaired by Albert H. Bowman. Committee members are Arthur F. Bull, James L. Ratcliffe and James Leonard Lee.
