Mrs. E. S. Calvert and Miss Ruth Calvert are visiting friends here. Prof. and Mrs. H. W. Wright are spending the summer in Charlotte, Mich. Miss Mabel Smith is attending the summer school at the University of Wisconsin. Mrs. Reginald de Koven of New York is the guest at the home of her sister, Mrs. Chatfield-Taylor. Mrs. Charles Ackert entertained sixteen of her friends at luncheon ath her new home on Telegraph road Tuesday. Miss Mary Burr sailed for Europe Tuesday. She is secretary of the Camp Fire Girls of Lake Forest and Highland Park. Mr. David B. Jones and the Misses Catherine and Winifred Jones and Mrs. Charles Edward Brown sailed from New York last week for Europe. Mr. Herman Gade of the Norwegian diplomatic service and former mayor of Lake Forest, was entertained at the [damaged] club last Tuesday by Rockwell King. Miss Katharine Keith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edson Keith, Jr., and Miss Evelyn Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Shaw, have sailed for Europe where they will travel through Germany, France and England.
