75 women belonging to the First Congregational Church met at the home of Mrs. Ballinger in Hubbard Woods. Mrs. Frank M. Elliott presided over the meeting. Dr. McElveen conducted devotional exerices. Mrs. W. M. Green, Mrs. E. D. Redington and Mrs. A. D. Sanders Sr. spoke in memory of the late Mrs. Roberts. Then Miss Flora Starr conducted the balance of the program. Other participants were: Miss Wheelock of the Wilmette Curch, Mrs. Knapp, Miss Skinner, Mrs. S. E. Huribut and Dr. McElveen. Mrs. E. J. Buffington, Mrs. T. A. Somerville, Mrs. James Odell and several others transported guests from Evanston in their cars. Last Thurs. the Woman's Home Missionary Society met at the home of Mrs. Nona Hakes on Hinman Ave., in Evanston. On Fri., June 27, the group met in Lincoln Park. This was organized by Mrs. J. J. Cullins, Mrs. Bushnell and Mrs. Welge.
